Cranberry Sauce

2 cups sugar
2 cups water
4 cups cranberries

Combine sugar and water in large saucepan. Stir to dissolve sugar. Heat to boiling; boil 5 minutes. Add cranberries. Cook about 5 minutes, till skins pop. Remove from heat. Chill and strain.

This is lovely served under sliced oranges
